We started in 2018 with a single copper kettle, a propane burner, and a stubborn idea: that Alaska deserved a sea salt of its own.
Eight years and forty-two batches later, the recipe hasn't changed much. Slow heat, patience, and a deep, uncompromising respect for the water. We set out to capture the essence of the sound, and we never stopped.

"Every flake carries the taste of Alaska — the cold, the quiet, the depth of the Sound."

Slow on purpose.
Industrial sea salt is harvested in days. Ours takes weeks. Each batch is hand-skimmed at the moment the pyramid crystals bloom on the surface, then dried on cedar racks. We make less. We waste nothing.
